I am running Java 1.6 how do I clear my cache?
Description: Your Java cache is a temporary storage area where frequently accessed data can be stored for rapid access. Once the data is stored in the cache, future use can be made by accessing the cached copy rather than having to download the Elluminate content every time you enter a session, therefore lowering your connection time. Sometimes we have to ask you to remove this content so that we can confirm that what you have in storage is complete and current. Solution: Windows Java Web Start version 1.6 (What version do I have?) Mac: Version J2SE 6 Click on the Network tab> Delete files > Make sure that both boxes (applications and applets / trace and log files) are selected and the click OK, then close the Java preferences window.
