Yes, due to Internet Explorer 7's (IE7) new security setup we recommend that all participants and moderators using Internet Explorer 7 make the following modifications to their Internet Explorer set-up. Two symptoms that users who do not make these changes may see are:
-difficulty playing flash files (.swf) uploaded to the multimedia library (a white or blank multimedia window appears instead)
-when logging into sessions, appearing as Your Name 1 in the participant area of the interface even though only logged in one time.
-error comes up in dialog box "The Java Runtime Environment cannot be loaded"
First, add *.elluminate.com and localhost as trusted websites.
Step 1. Access the Tools-->Internet options menu in IE7.

Step 2.
Select the security tab of the Internet Options, click “Trusted sites”, then open the Sites dialogue.

Step 3.

Add “*.elluminate.com” (the * makes all sub domains of elluminate.com trusted.) and “http://localhost” as a trusted website. Make sure the checkmark for “Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone is not” checked. This change will allow flash files (.swf) uploaded to the Elluminate Live! multimedia library to play properly.
Secondly, change the Internet Security settings to automatically prompt for file download.
Step 4. Close the Trusted Sites dialog and open the “Custom Level” button back in the Internet options security tab.

Set “Automatic prompting for file downloads” to Enabled. This will allow you to properly launch meetings and your name will be properly displayed in the Participants area within Elluminate Live!
